Septuagint in the Pauline Epistles
III. Other Pauline Epistles

All Nations Will Be Blessed

Gal 3:8 follows Gen 18:18 using πάντα τὰ ἔθνη (all the nations) rather than πᾶσαι αἱ φυλαὶ (all the tribes) in Gen 12:3. However, it follows Gen 12:3 with ἐν σοὶ (in you) rather than ἐν αὐτῷ (in him) as in Gen 18:18.

The Promise to Abraham's Seed, Not to Seeds

Not quotation but allusion. The main point is that in God's promise to Abraham, σπέρμα is singular.

Rejoice, O Barren Woman
Exact quote.

Drive Out the Maidservant and Her Son
Close quote; Paul omits ταύτην/ταύτης (this) in referring to the bondmaid, uses οὐ μὴ rather than μὴ, and changes τοῦ υἱοῦ μου Ἰσαάκ (my son Isaac) to τοῦ υἱοῦ τῆς ἐλευθέρας (the son of the free woman).

In Your Anger Do Not Sin
Exact quote. Note that HMT has רִגְזוּ (tremble), and NIV takes it to mean "tremble in anger", while CUV takes it to mean "tremble in fear".
